Important information
Terms & warranty
Please read these terms before booking or sending a device.
1. Appointments and authorisation
CyberConsoleRevive operates by appointment only. By leaving or posting a device, the customer authorises reasonable inspection and testing needed to diagnose the reported fault.
2. Estimates and additional faults
Remote estimates are provisional. The final quote may change after inspection if extra damage, previous repair attempts, missing pads, broken traces or unrelated faults are discovered. Additional chargeable work requires customer approval.
3. Diagnostics and declined repairs
A diagnostic fee may apply where detailed inspection has been completed and the repair is declined, no fault is found, or repair is not economically viable.
4. Warranty
Warranty applies only to the specific repaired fault and does not cover unrelated faults, accidental damage, misuse, tampering, further liquid exposure or damage caused after return.
5. Water and liquid damage
CyberConsoleRevive will inspect and attempt to repair water-damaged or liquid-damaged devices to the best of our capability. Because liquid damage can cause hidden corrosion, additional faults and later component failure, a successful or long-term repair cannot be guaranteed. No warranty is provided on any repair carried out to a water-damaged or liquid-damaged device.
6. Data and software
Customers should back up important data where possible. Diagnosis or repair may involve an unavoidable risk of data loss, reset or software reinstallation.
7. Parts and cosmetic condition
Equivalent quality replacement parts may be used. Existing scratches, cracks, missing screws, prior damage and reasonable signs of disassembly should be recorded before work where possible.
8. Collection, storage and abandoned devices
Devices should be collected promptly after notice. Storage charges may apply. Devices uncollected for 90 days after reasonable reminder attempts may be treated as abandoned and recycled or sold to recover outstanding costs, subject to applicable law.
9. Mail-in repairs
Customers are responsible for safe packaging and appropriate postage insurance when sending a device. Return postage and any agreed delivery charges remain payable.
10. Agreement
Submitting a repair request or leaving a device confirms that the customer has read and accepted these terms.
