Who we are
PixelFixRepair is an independent UK console repair service. For privacy questions or requests, email pixelfixrepair@outlook.com or call 07932 676468.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, device type, fault details, messages, repair history, payment and collection information, and any other information you choose to provide.
Why we use your information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide estimates, arrange appointments or mail-in repairs, diagnose and complete authorised work, contact you about your device, manage payments and warranty enquiries, prevent fraud or misuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Our lawful bases
We normally process enquiry and repair information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a repair contract, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate interests such as running and protecting the business. We do not use repair-request details for unrelated marketing.
Who information is shared with
Website form submissions are processed by Netlify. Email communications may be processed by Microsoft Outlook. Information may also be shared with payment, delivery, professional or legal service providers only where needed. We do not sell customer information.
How long we keep information
Unconverted enquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months. Repair, invoice, payment and warranty records may be kept for up to six years where needed for customer service, accounting, tax, dispute or legal purposes. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, the provider is responsible for using appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.
Security
We use HTTPS and reputable service providers to reduce the risk of unauthorised access. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not submit passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information through the repair form.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
Cookies and analytics
This version of the website does not use advertising cookies or analytics. Essential browser or hosting functions may still operate where necessary to deliver and protect the site. If analytics or additional cookies are added later, this notice and any required cookie controls should be updated.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
